The title says it all - "Sauterelle" (grasshopper). An imaginary, musical paraphrase of the grasshopper in two parts. The first, slow part is meant to represent a somewhat lazy and sluggish grasshopper and the second part a lively and bouncy one. Fun and amusing for young eb-horn players, funny and entertaining for the audience.
