Commandé par le Brass Band l'Elite de Cressier pour son 100ème anniversaire

This piece was commissioned by the Brass Band de l'Elite de Cressier on the occasion of its 100th anniversary and is one of eight pieces written to accompany the humorous tale "Le pied d'Estale" by Jacques Béalle. The play, in medieval style, influenced the inspiration for this composition. This piece was played as an introduction to Act 4, in which the scene takes place in a dark cave where an ugly, scary and dangerous monster lives. A ponderous and loud piece with many effects.
